# The Social Fund (Application for Review) (Amendment) Regulations 2006, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 3rd April 2006
Coming into force 24th April 2006
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 38(1) and (3) of the Social Security Act 1998.
The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it.
