  "text": "SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH\nLaid before Parliament in draft\nMade 29th November 1965\nComing into Operation 1st December 1965\nAt the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 29th day of November 1965\nPresent,\nThe Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council\nWhereas the Social Science Research Council is established by Royal Charter for purposes connected with scientific research and consists of persons appointed by a Minister of the Crown:\nAnd whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament in pursuance of section 1(4) of the Science and Technology Act 1965 and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament:\nNow therefore Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1(1) of the said Act is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to declare, and it is hereby declared, as follows:—",
