There may be paid as part of the expenses of the Committee—

(a)

to all or any of the members of the Committee, such salaries or other remuneration and travelling and other allowances,

(b)

to persons attending their meetings at the request of the Committee, such travelling and other allowances (including compensation for loss of remunerative time), and

(c)

to persons who are not members of the Committee but who at the invitation of the Committee act as advisers at meetings of the Committee held to consider matters on which those persons are specially qualified or otherwise, such fees,

as the Secretary of State may with the consent of the Minister for the Civil Service determine.
