  "text": "Where a woman claims a maternity allowance, she shall be deemed to satisfy the first contribution condition for the allowance if on a previous claim by her for any short-term benefit (other than a widow's allowance) she has satisfied the first contribution condition for that benefit, by virtue of paragraph 8 above, with contributions of a class relevant to maternity allowance.",
