  "heading": "Claims in the alternative",
  "text": "(1) A claim for any one benefit under Chapters I to III of this Part may be treated as a claim in the alternative—\n(a) for such other benefit under those Chapters as may be prescribed; or\n(b) for such benefit under Chapter IV or V as may be prescribed,\nor may be treated for the purposes of the Family Allowances Act as a claim for a payment under that Act.\n(2) A claim—\n(a) for industrial injuries benefit; or\n(b) for benefit under the 1966 c. 20.Supplementary Benefit Act 1966 ; or\n(c) for a payment under the Family Allowances Act,\nmay be treated as a claim in the alternative for such benefit under Chapters I to III as may be prescribed.",
