# The Social Security Act 1986 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1987, Article 2: Appointed day


Subject to article 3 below, the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Social Security Act 1986 which are specified in Schedule 1 to this Order is 6th April 1987.
