# The Social Security Act 1998 (Commencement No. 14) Order 2006, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order appoints the day for the coming into force of section 67 of the Social Security Act 1998 (c.14) (daily rate of maternity allowance) as 1st October 2006 in respect of women whose expected week of confinement falls on or after 1st April 2007.
