# The Social Security (Adjudication) Regulations 1995, Regulation 35: Appointment of adjudicating medical practitioners and specially qualified adjudicating medical practitioners

Extent: E+W+S

(1) Adjudicating medical practitioners shall be appointed by the Secretary of State to act for such area or areas as may be specified in the instrument of appointment.
(2) Specially qualified adjudicating medical practitioners shall be appointed by the Secretary of State to act for such area or areas as may be specified in the instrument of appointment.
