# The Social Security Amendment (New Deal) Regulations 1997, Regulation 5: Relevant education


At the end of regulation 54 of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations there shall be added the following paragraph—
“(5) A young person who is participating in the Full-Time Education and Training Option of the New Deal as specified in regulation 75(1)(b)(ii) shall not be treated as receiving relevant education.”.
