# The Social Security Benefit (Dependency) Amendment Regulations 1980, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 24th April 1980
Laid before Parliament 1st May 1980
Coming into Operation 2nd June 1980
The Secretary of State for Social Services in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 44(3)(c), 49 and 66(1)(d) of, and Schedule 20 to, the Social Security Act 1975 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after reference to the National Insurance Advisory Committee and the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council, hereby makes the following regulations:—
