# The Social Security Benefit (Persons Abroad) (Amendment) Regulations 2010, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 16th March 2010
Coming into force 6th April 2010
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 113(1)(a) and 175(1) and (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992.
The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it.
