# The Social Security (Benefit) (Transitional) Regulations 1979, Regulation 1: Citation and commencement


These regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Benefit) (Transitional) Regulations 1979. Regulation 7 shall come into operation on 24th March 1979 and the remainder of the regulations shall come into operation on 6th April 1979.
