SOCIAL SECURITY

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Made 10th January 1989

Coming into force

for the purposes of articles 1, 2, and 19 1st April 1989

for the purposes of article 18 1st or 3rd April 1989

for the purposes of article 10 2nd April 1989

for the purposes of articles 9 and 12 6th April 1989

for the purposes of articles 13 and 14 11th April 1989

for all other purposes 10th April 1989

Whereas, the Secretary of State for Social Security having made a review under section 63(1) of the Social Security Act 1986f1, a draft of the following order was laid before Parliament in accordance with the provisions of section 63(2) and section 83(3)(d) of that Act and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament;

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State for Social Security, with the consent of the Treasuryf2 in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 63 of the Social Security Act 1986, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
