# The Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order 2000, Article 13: Sums specified for child benefit


In regulation 2(1) of the Child Benefit and Social Security (Fixing and Adjustment of Rates) Regulations 1976 (weekly rates of child benefit)–
(a) in sub-paragraph (a)(i), for the sum of £14.40 there shall be substituted the sum of £15.00;
(b) in sub-paragraph (a)(ii), for the sum of £17.10 there shall be substituted the sum of £17.55; and
(c) in sub-paragraph (b), for the sum of £9.60 there shall be substituted the sum of £10.00.
