# The Social Security Class 3A Contributions (Amendment) Regulations 2014, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2) and (3)
The Treasury make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14B(1), 14B(2) and 14B(4) and 14C(2) and 14C(3), of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and sections 14B(1), 14B(2) and 14B(4) and 14C(2) and 14C(3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992.
