# The Social Security (Contributions) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 1997, Regulation 2: Amendment of the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 1979


In regulation 7 of the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 1979 (lower and upper earnings limits for Class 1 contributions)—
(a) for “6th April 1996”, substitute “6th April 1997”; and
(b) for “£61” and “£455”, substitute “£62” and “£465” respectively.
