Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions) Amendment (No. 3) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 6th April 1989.

In these Regulations“the principal Regulations” means the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 1979^f1, and unless the context otherwise requires, any reference in these Regulations to a numbered regulation is a reference to the regulation bearing that number in the principal Regulations.
