# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 6th April 2001
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 3(2), (2A), (3), 4(6) and (7), 10(9) and 175(3) and (4) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and section 74(9) of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State in so far as required, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
