# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2008, Regulation 1: Citation, interpretation and commencement


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2008.
(2) In these Regulations “the SSCR” means the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 2001.
(3) These Regulations come into force—
(a) for the purposes of the amendments to regulation 67(2) of, and paragraphs 22 and 31 of Schedule 4 to, the SSCR on 1st April 2008; and
(b) for all other purposes on 6th April 2008.
