# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2020, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 19th March 2020
Laid before Parliament 20th March 2020
Coming into force 6th April 2020
These Regulations are made by the Treasury in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) and (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and section 3(2) and (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992, and now exercisable by them.
The Secretary of State and the Department for Communities concur to the making of these Regulations.
