# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment No. 5) Regulations 2007, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 6th August 2007
The Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs make these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 6 of Schedule 1 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and paragraph 6 of Schedule 1 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 and now exercisable by them.
