# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment No. 5) Regulations 2011, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 6th December 2011
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(2) and (3), 4(6) and (7) and 175(3) and (4) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and sections 3(2) and (3), 4(6) and (7) and 171(3), (4) and (10) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992, make the following Regulations.
The Secretary of State and the Department for Social Development concur in the making of these Regulations.
