# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment No. 7) Regulations 2007, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 15th August 2007
Coming into force 5th September 2007
The Treasury make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and section 3(2) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992.
The Secretary of State and the Department for Social Development concur in the making of these Regulations.
