# The Social Security (Contributions) Amendment Regulations 1993, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 16th February 1993
Coming into force 11th April 1993
The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of powers conferred by sections 1(4)(a), 13(1), 119, 122(1) and 175(1) to (5) of, and paragraph 8(1)(q) of Schedule 1 to, the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after agreement by the Social Security Advisory Committee that proposals to make these Regulations should not be referred to it, hereby makes the following Regulations:
