Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1)

These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions) Amendment Regulations 1999 and shall come into force–

(a)

for the purposes of regulation 3, on 6th April 1999 immediately after the coming into force of regulation 8 of The Social Security (Contributions and Credits) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1999^f1;

(b)

for all other purposes, on 6th April 1999.

In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 1979^f2.
