# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations 2011, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 7th February 2011
Coming into force 28th February 2011
The Treasury make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(2) and (3) and 175(3) and (4) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and sections 3(2) and (3) and 171(3), (4) and (10) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 and now exercisable by them.
The Secretary of State and the Department for Social Development concur in the making of these Regulations.
