# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations 2016, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 5th February 2016
Coming into force 6th April 2016
The Treasury make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9B(9) and 175(3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and sections 9B(9) and 171(3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992.
