# The Social Security (Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations 2019, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 23rd January 2019
Coming into force 5th April 2019
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsections (6) and (7) of section 4 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and subsections (6) and (7) of section 4 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992, make the following Regulations.
The Secretary of State and the Department for Communities concur in the making of these Regulations.
