# The Social Security (Contributions) (Re-rating) Consequential Amendment Regulations 1990, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 16th March 1990
Coming into force 6th April 1990
The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of powers conferred by sections 129(1) and 166(2) of, and Schedule 20 to, the Social Security Act 1975 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains only provisions in consequence of an Order under section 120 of that Act for the purposes of making provisions consequential on that Order, hereby makes the following Regulations:
