# The Social Security (Contributions) (Re-rating) Consequential Amendment Regulations 2000, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 6th April 2000
The Treasury, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 117(1) and 175(1) to (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains only provisions in consequence of an order under section 141 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, hereby make the following Regulations:
