# The Social Security (Credits) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 1983, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 7th November 1983
Coming into Operation 28th November 1983
The Secretary of State for Social Services, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 13(4) and 131 of the Social Security Act 1975, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Social Security Advisory Committee having agreed that the proposals to make these regulations should not be referred to it, hereby makes the following regulations:—
