Regulation 2 Amendment of the Social Security (Credits) Regulations

Regulation 9A of the Social Security (Credits) Regulations 1975^f1 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.

In paragraph (2), for the words “paragraph (3)” there shall be substituted the words “paragraphs (3) and (4)”.

In paragraph (3) at the beginning there shall be inserted the words “Subject to paragraph (4)”.

After paragraph (3), there shall be inserted the following paragraph:—

“(4)

Where in any tax year to which this regulation applies a person is absent from Great Britain for more than 182 days, he shall not by virtue of this regulation be credited with any contributions in that tax year.”
