# The Social Security (Credits) Amendment Regulations 1987, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 12th March 1987
Laid before Parliament 16th March 1987
Coming into force 6th April 1987
The Secretary of State for Social Services in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 13(4) and 168 of, and Schedule 20 to, the Social Security Act 1975 and sections 84(1) and 89(1) of the Social Security Act 1986 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains only regulations made under the section of the Social Security Act 1986 specified above and regulations consequent on paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 8 to the Social Security Act 1986, and which is made before the end of a period of 12 months from their commencement, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
