# The Social Security (Electronic Communications) (Miscellaneous Benefits) Order 2005, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Regulations 1987 to enable a claim to be made by electronic communication for attendance allowance, disability living allowance, graduated retirement benefit, retirement pension and shared additional pension.
Article 2 amends regulation 4ZC of, and Schedule 9ZC to, the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Regulations 1987 to include the five benefits.
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been provided for this instrument as it has no impact on the costs of business.
