# The Social Security (Incapacity Benefit Work-focused Interviews) (Amendment) Regulations 2009, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 25th June 2009
Coming into force 26th October 2009
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2A(1), (3) to (5) and (8), 189(4), (5) and (7A) and 191 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992.
The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that the proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it.
