# The Social Security (Incapacity Benefit)(Transitional) Regulations 1995, Regulation 3: Linking periods of interruption of employment and periods of incapacity for work


Where the last day of incapacity for work in a period of interruption of employment and the first day of incapacity for work in a period of incapacity for work are not separated by a period of more than 56 days, both these periods shall be treated as one period of incapacity for work.
