  "text": "(1) A requirement imposed by these Regulations to take part in an interview shall not apply if the Secretary of State determines that an interview would not—\n(a) be of assistance to the relevant person; or\n(b) be appropriate in the circumstances.\n(2) A person in relation to whom a requirement to take part in an interview has been waived under paragraph (1) shall be treated for the purposes of—\n(a) regulation 3 or 4; and\n(b) any claim for, or entitlement to, a specified benefit,\nas having complied with that requirement.",
