  "heading": "Citation, commencement and interpretation",
  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Maternity Allowance) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 6th April 1987.\n(2) In these Regulations —\n“the Act” means the Social Security Act 1975;\n“the 1986 Act” means the Social Security Act 1986.\n“the 1992 Act” means the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992.\n(3) Unless the context otherwise requires, any reference in any of these regulations —\n(a) to a numbered paragraph is a reference to the paragraph bearing that number in that regulation; and\n(b) in these Regulations to a Schedule is to the Schedule to these Regulations.",
