# The Social Security (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1997, Regulation 7: Amendment of the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987


In regulation 35 of the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987 (earnings of employed earners)—
(a) in paragraph (2), after sub-paragraph (d) there shall be added the following sub-paragraph—
“(e) any lump sum payment made under the Iron and Steel Re-adaptation Benefits Scheme”;
(b) in paragraph (3), in sub-paragraph (a)(ii), for the word “(d)” there shall be substituted the word “(e)”.
