Regulation 12 Amendment of regulation 9 of the Claims and Payments Regulations

After paragraph (6) of regulation 9 of the Claims and Payments Regulations (interchange with claims for other benefits) there shall be added the following paragraph—

“(7)

In determining whether he should treat a claim alternatively or in addition to another claim (the original claim) under this regulation the Secretary of State shall treat the alternative or additional claim, whenever made, as having been made at the same time as the original claim”.
