  "text": "(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to Article 1 and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.\n(2) In this Order—\n“Commissioner” has the same meaning as it has in the principal Act;\n“the Department” means the Department of Health and Social Services;\nDefinitions rep. by 1992 c.9\n“the 1986 Order” means the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 ;\n“the Pensions Order” means the Social Security Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1975;\n“prescribed” means prescribed by regulations;\n“the principal Act” means the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Act 1975;\n“regulations” means regulations made by the Department;\n“statutory provision” has the meaning assigned to it by section 1(f) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954.\n(3) In this Order references to Northern Ireland include references to the territorial waters of the United Kingdom adjacent to Northern Ireland.",
