  "text": "(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to Article 1 and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.\n(2) In this Order—\n“the Department” means the Department of Health and Social Services;\n“the National Insurance Fund” means the Northern Ireland National Insurance Fund;\nDefinitions rep. by 1992 c. 9\n“the Pensions Order” means the Social Security Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1975;\n“prescribed” means prescribed by regulations;\n“the principal Act” means the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Act 1975;\n“regulations” means, except in Article 17, regulations made by the Department;\n“statutory provision” has the meaning assigned to it by section 1(f) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954.",
