# The Social Security (Shared Additional Pension) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2005, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Shared Additional Pension) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force—
(a) except for regulation 3 on 6th July 2005; and
(b) regulation 3 on 6th April 2006.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Claims and Payments Regulations” means the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Regulations 1987;
“shared additional pension” means a shared additional pension under section 55A of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992.
