# The Social Security (Shared Additional Pension) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2005, Regulation 7: Amendment of the Social Security (General Benefit) Regulations 1982


(1) The Social Security (General Benefit) Regulations 1982 are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.
(2) In regulation 1(2) (citation, commencement and interpretation) immediately before the definition of “standard rate of increase” insert—
““shared additional pension” means a shared additional pension under section 55A of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992;”.
(3) In regulation 2(2) (exceptions from disqualification for imprisonment etc.) after “maternity allowance,” insert “a shared additional pension,”.
