  "text": "These Regulations contain transitional provisions relating mainly to unemployment, sickness and maternity benefits and widows' allowance under the Social Security Act 1973 (including earnings-related supplements).\nThe Regulations enable contributions paid under the National Insurance Act 1965 to count for benefit under the Act of 1973. They provide for continuity of rights to benefit and adapt provisions of those Acts for that purpose.",
