# The Social Security (Work-focused Interviews for Lone Parents) Amendment Regulations 2007, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 30th March 2007
Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2A, 2B, 189(1), (4) to (6) and (7A) and 191 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992.
The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it.
