# Solicitors (Compensation for Inadequate Professional Services) Order 2005, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order increases from £5,000 to £15,000 the maximum compensation that the Council of the Law Society may direct a solicitor to pay his client for inadequate professional services.
