# Solicitors (Northern Ireland) Order 1976, Article 72A: Exercise of solicitors' lien on documents by Society


Where, under any provision of this Order or otherwise, a solicitor has delivered any document to the Society or to a solicitor appointed by the Society, the Society shall be deemed to have a lien on that document of the same nature and to the same extent as the solicitor would have had if the document had remained in his possession.
