# The South Park Sixth Form College, Middlesbrough (Dissolution) Order 1997, Introduction: Introductory text


EDUCATION, ENGLAND AND WALES

Laid before Parliament 5th March 1997
Coming into force 1st August 1997
Whereas the Secretary of State for Education and Employment has received a proposal from the Further Education Funding Council for England, made in accordance with section 51 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (“the Act”), for the dissolution under section 27 of the Act of the further education corporation known as South Park Sixth Form College, Middlesbrough (“the Transferor”);
Now therefore in exercise of the power conferred on her by section 27 of the Act the Secretary of State after consulting the Transferor and with the consent of the further education corporation known as Prior Pursglove College, Guisborough, Cleveland (“the Transferee”) hereby makes the following Order:
