  "text": "Local Government, England\nMade 3rd July 2017\nLaid before Parliament 5th July 2017\nComing into force 1st August 2017\nThe Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 198 of the Localism Act 2011 (“the 2011 Act”) as modified by article 4 of, and the Schedule to, the Tees Valley Combined Authority (Functions) Order 2017 (“the 2017 Order”), having been notified of the designation of a Corporation for an area, and of the name to be given to the Corporation for the area, by the Mayor under section 197(6)(b) and (c) of the 2011 Act as modified by article 4 of, and the Schedule to, the 2017 Order.",

This order was made under sections 105(3), 105A(1)(b) and (2)(a), 107D(1), 114(1) and (3) and 117(5) of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 (c. 20). Section 105A was inserted by section 7 of the Cities and Local Government Devolution Act 2016 (c. 1) (“the 2016 Act”). Section 107D was inserted by 4 of the 2016 Act. Section 114 was amended by section 23 of, and paragraph 26 of Schedule 5 to, the 2016 Act, and S.I. 2016/997. Section 117(5) was inserted by section 23 of, and paragraph 29 of Schedule 5 to, the 2016 Act."
